I arrived expecting to check out the club and shoot practice, not realizing a registered NSCA shoot was scheduled. Two one-hundred target events were being held, one in the morning and the second in the afternoon. A quick invitation was forthcoming by shoot management and I was signed up for the afternoon event.
Most, if not all shooters had carts, but one is not necessary. The shoot consisted of 14 stations. I shot the course using IC choke and scored a 71. HOA in the AM was Jon Kent (90) and RU was Ed Welch (90). In the PM, HOA was Georgia shooter Clayton Huling (91) and RU was James Brown (89).
The club put on a great lunch and both
shooters and shoot management were friendly. This club should be on everyone's shoot schedule.
