Quimby Mountain Open

NSCA Sporting Clays

Mark Sandler presents HOA Bob Howard his Plaque

Ninety-five shooters in attendance, 100 targets, and 14 stations.  New York shooter Bob Howard won HOA with a 91.

The course is set on the side of a mountain and a shuttle service was provided to take shooters without transportation to station #1, located near the top.

A good variety of target presentations were offered and all stations had automated traps.  The trappers seemed well versed on the rules and all seemed to be in good humor.  A very aggressive crew was constantly filling machines.  It was a rather warm and muggy day and water and bug spray was available throughout the course.

The kitchen put on a nice meal and for $5 you had salad (4-5 choices), chips, soda or bottled water, and either two hotdogs or one hamburger, and a choice of dessert.
