11e Tournoi de tir au pigeon d’argile
GAZ MÉTRO au profit de LEUCAN

May 7, 2005

Nearly 200 showed up North of Québec city at Valcartier military base for the annual LEUCAN (Leukemia Cancer children) benefit shoot.  As usual in this neck of the world, the weather rapidly changes from nice and comfortable to a Northeastern cloudy and very cold!  At least this year, we did not get snow, sleet or rain!

Nearly 200 guns participated in the event.   As can be seen in the pics, many were novices!  Due to the pollution on the grounds, we had to use steel loadings.  This year they have managed to procure several auto machines, thus 12 stations. Several expatriots drove 6 1/2 hours from Boston to participate.  There was a good showing from Montrealers also.
