LVFGC would like to thank everyone who made a special effort to support Lamoille Valley Fish & Game Club’s benefit skeet shoot on June 22nd. The proceeds of this shoot will be presented to a college-bound youth who is active in hunting or the shooting sports. Special thanks go out to Ted and Peggy Meunier who celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary shooting together at this fund raiser. Ted took the high overall score and received the prize of a gift certificate for a free holiday tree donated by Moffatt’s Tree Farm in Craftsbury, VT.
Thanks to Kristen Slade and Mark Struhsacker for their efforts in setting up and running this event. Congratulations to Matt Nadeau for his willingness to compete, and strong showing at his first competition in his first season of shooting skeet.
Please join us for our next event August 3rd, 2013 for the Jim Chapman Open NSSA Shoot. Registration will be at 9am. Pre-registration is encouraged. This will be a 12/20 gauge event with 100 rounds for each gauge. The proceeds will be contributed our scholarship donations.
