Vermont’s Jim Chapman was arguably one of the state’s leading advocates for skeet competitive skeet shooting in the Green Mountain State. Following Jim’s passing a few years ago, the Lamoille Valley Fish and Game Club named an annual shoot after Jim. His family regularly attends the shoot to say hi to his old friends and to help recognize Jim’s passion for the sport.
This year’s shoot was won by Lanny Benoit followed by Jeff Wright (RU) and Terry Dunbar (3rd). Other HOA winners included Ted Meunier (HOA B1), Jim Moffatt (HOA C1) and Linda Wright (HOA E1 and Lady Champ).
I would like to personally thank Rob Boivin, Kristen Slade, Dean Shedd and all of the Lamoille Valley organizers for hosting this great shoot each year in Jim Chapman’s memory.
