Sam Barbetta

BARBETTA WINS HOA

Twenty skeet shooters came to the Knotty pine skeet club at Kirkfield Ontario in the middle of the week, Wednesday Sept 15th, for the annual Knotty pine 4x50.

It was a little windy which kept the scores down a bit, but at least it didn’t rain, and no, the wind didn’t get stronger for the 410.

Sam Barbetta smoked 186 out of the 200 targets to win the HOA outright, Sam also shot the only 50 straight of the day, winning the 28 ga for his effort.

Doug Steed JR just 2 targets behind captured the runner up medal. Three 49s shot off for the 12 ga with Lorne Goodwin champion and Bill Gibson who came all the way from Rochester NY as runner up.

In the 20 ga Don Yaraskavitch had the only 49 for champ and Tony Lamoureuxs 48 was good for r/u.

Three 48 shot off for r/u in the 28 ga, Frank Stewart just got lucky and won that one.

In the 410 Frank with 47 and Jennie Marsh with 46 was Champ and r/u.

Joanne Steed did her usual excellent job on registration and the score board, Thank you JO.

This ends the skeet season at the Knotty pine for another year, its time to start thinking hunting season.

Thank you to everyone for making this another successful shooting season at the Knotty pine.
