Seventy degrees and overcast. The sun stayed hidden for the most part, but did make a showing from time to time. A one-hundred target, 13 station shoot. The trappers did a nice job keeping the machines topped off and target breakage was minimal.
With eighty-five shooters in attendance, Master Shooter Alex Sumner won the shoot with a score of 88 and Brett Halcomb (87) was R/U, after winning a shoot off.
Thanks to John Hamm for letting me share his cart and making the shoot an even more enjoyable experience than it already was. I used IC chokes at all stations and 1 1/8 loads of #8's. I ended up with an 82. The club served fried chicken and all the fixings for lunch. The shoot was great fun and everyone we ran into was more than friendly.
