East Berkshire, Vermont Skeet & Trap Fun Shoot June 26, 2005 |
![]() First time visiting the club and we ran into several people we knew and had a nice time. The club's machines are all new (skeet & trap). The trap house is poured walls with a sliding roof. I think I was told the house could hold 96 boxes. Rather impressive in what they have done, as they only have 14 acres. At certain times of the year, skeet may be a challenge as the field is situated with a stand of trees in the background. They also say the trap bird really hops around when it gets windy. Everyone was more then friendly, the targets were great, and we would go back without thinking twice. The shoot consisted of 50 skeet and 50 trap with scores combined for total score. My wife Heide took the womens side of the shoot with a score of 93x100. |
A two field skeet and trap club that is open each Wednesday and Sunday, except for the winter months. The club also features a 100 yard outdoor range. The club is 23.6 miles east of the Swanton I-89 exit, in East Berkshire, Vermont. Located off Route 105, north on Route 118 N, across from the fire department (only .08 miles north of route 105). |
