The Orillia gun club held the 15th annual 4 gun x 50 open on June 8-10-2012.
We had a little rain on Saturday but Sunday the weather was perfect and the scores were great.
With a total of 29 shooters our one skeet field was shooting non stop all week end.
Reg Hooper won the 20-28-410 and HOA, If it wasn't for Steve Bound winning the 12ga he would have made a clean sweep.
Reg has won the HOA six times, first back in 2005 when this was a 4 x 100, with the highest score ever posted at the Orillia club, 397/400,
then in 2008 with 395/400.
Starting in 2009 we went to a 4x50 shoot and Reg continued with 197/200 and in 2010 another 197/200 and 2011 198/200 and finally this year with another 197/200, that makes 5 HOA championships in a row, great shooting REG.
Philip Finlay had his first 50 in the 20 and 28 ga and also ran his first box of 3-4-5 doubles in the handicap shoot off winning the event in the 3rd box.
Dan Tansley shot his first registered targets and hung on in the handicap shoot off pushing Finlay into the 3rd box.
David Mylnikov shot his first 50 in the 28 ga.
Larry Brookes shot a perfect 50 in the 12 ga his first.
Thanks to all the shooters for continuing to make this shoot a success, and thanks to Joanne, Pat and Joan on registration and the score board, our referees Doug, Stu, Les and Joan, and everyone who helped with the cleanup.
And a big thank you to Sean Severin from the Sudbury club, Joan Ego, Chuck Stewart, Doug and Joanne Steed from Orillia who have attended all 15 shoots.

Larry Brookes shoots his first 50 straight in the 12 ga at the Orillia 4x50 in June, he also had to buy a new hat.
Larry had to settle for R/U when he couldn't stay for the shoot off.
