Courses were interesting. Targets were all hittable, but setters made you think. Many shooters tended to wait a bit too long in an effort to 'kill' the targets. That was a mistake. Not a whole lot of long bombs. Most were skillfully set. Lots of interference. Lots of distractions. Some twofers. All in all, a good week. Weather co-operated. The big wet on Thursday never arrived, and some people actually got sunburned. By and large, trappers were efficient and polite. Much better than the US Open. Very few breakdowns. Use Materelli traps on some courses. This year I took my wife, and we stayed downtown at Riverwalk at the Drury Plaza, a very nice hotel. Staff were most helpful. Only took about 25 minutes to drive out to the shooting grounds. Lots of places to eat on the Riverwalk, with some shopping. Saw a great Country Music show at the Aztec across the street.
